Hanna Sars, originally from Eskilstuna, has lived in the Municipality of Vellinge since 2007. Alongside her work as a real estate agent and business owner, she is actively involved in several local business associations and holds a number of board positions.

I am both a resident and a business owner, rooted right here at home.
In my work as a real estate agent — and as someone who lives in the municipality — I move daily between villages, people, and places that together shape what we call Greater Falsterbo.
From Gessie and Hököpinge in the north to Näset and Falsterbo in the south, we all help create a place to be proud of. A municipality full of life, initiative, and belief in the future. No matter which village or community we call home, we are part of something larger — a place that not only encourages people to stay and visitors to return, but also attracts new residents who want to build their lives here.
To be part of shaping the future of our shared place through Greater Falsterbo feels both exciting and meaningful to me. For me, it’s about highlighting the whole — but also about daring to shine a light on the parts of the municipality that may not always be the first to catch the eye. I’m particularly passionate about putting the lesser‑known areas in the east and north on the map — where fields, open landscapes, and small hidden gems are given space to breathe.
It might be a bike ride by the sea, passing cows and horses, a spontaneous stop for lunch at a local café or a farm restaurant along the way — where, if the season allows, you sit outside in the sun, looking out over the fields, feeling that you really don’t need to go any farther than this. It could also be a visit to a farm shop, or an outing into the natural surroundings of the lake Arriesjön — a place that offers both simple enjoyment and fresh perspectives, just around the corner.
We have wonderful local gems right on our doorstep, and to me it’s only natural to support our local businesses whenever possible. Buying food, flowers, clothes, and enjoying a meal close to home is a simple way to help sustain a vibrant community.
Whether we live in a village, a town, on the open plains, or along the coast, we are all part of the same story. Greater Falsterbo is not just a place — it is the sum of all of us who live and work here, together.
